New Releases for the week of November 26th, 2012

It’s that time of week again, time for the new releases of the week!

Starting off, we have a few Sega Classics released this week the 1st being Sonic the Fighters.
Sonic the Fighters is a fighting game developed by Sega-AM2 for Sega’s Model 2 arcade system. The game, which allows players to fight using characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, was released in arcades in May 1996. The game was included in the compilation disc Sonic Gems Collection for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube in 2005. A HD port is avaliable for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

The Second game to be announced is the Arcade Classic Virtual Fighter 2 also for the Xbox Live Arcade & PlayStation Network. Virtual Fighter 2 is the sequel to Virtua Fighter and the second game in the Virtua Fighter series. It was created by the Sega’s Yu Suzuki-headed AM2 and was released in the arcade in 1994.

And last but not least (Also on PSN & XBLA), Fighting Vipers. Fighting Vipers is a 3D fighting game developed by Sega AM2. The game was first released in the arcade in 1995 using the Sega Model 2 hardware and ported the same year to the Sega Saturn with significantly reduced graphics.

Now for the Playstation Network we have Men in Black: Alien Crisis. MIB: Alien Crisis is a video game of the action-adventure genre for the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. It is developed by FunLabs and published by Activision. Instead of Agent J or Agent K, the game features a never before seen MIB agent named Agent P (Peter Delacoeur). The game was released on May 22, 2012 Alien Crisis is partially based on the Men in Black 3 movie and coincided with its launch in theaters.

Up next for the PS3 is Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is a platform game developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation Network and published by Sony. Like the previous downloadable game in the series, Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty, in Europe, as well as the United States for this time, it will be released on Blu-ray Disc as well as the PlayStation Store.

We have new DLC released for Mass Effect 3 entitled Omega. It was released on November 27, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PC. For the Playstation 3, it was released on November 27 worldwide except for Europe, where it will be released on November 28, 2012. This update will not be released for the Wii U. Join Omega’s infamous leader in her fight to retake the notorious black market station. Navigate Omega’s seedy underbelly as Aria joins your squad and you witness her legendary biotic powers and unrelenting ruthlessness first-hand. Help Nyreen Kandros, the valiant turian leader of the Talon mercenary group, as she fights to free the enslaved people of Omega. Face down fearsome new enemies, including the Cerberus-manipulated Reaper, the Adjutant.

We have a new release for the (PS Vita and PSP) Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension The Game was originally released in 2011 but now digitally released. Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is a video game based on the TV movie of the same name and the first multi-platform game in the Phineas and Ferb video game series. It was released in August 2011 to coincide with the premiere of the film for Wii, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation 3.

For the Nintendo 3DS we have Aero Porter it will be released on November 29th.
In AERO PORTER, the player is charged with managing the busy day-to-day operations of a bustling airport through gameplay that includes both clever puzzle elements and simulation challenges. While running their flight hub, players sort color-coded luggage onto conveyor belts while avoiding mishaps and delays, all while ensuring the on-time departures of airplanes. As the game progresses, players earn money and increase their passengers in order to expand their airport, unlock new gameplay elements, and raise the level of challenge. Players are also able to design and share their own planes with a wide range of colors and patterns via StreetPass

Now you know we can’t forget our Steam players out there. 1st off we have Super Hexagon, Miner Wars 2081, Total War: Shogun 2 – Otomo Clan Pack DLC.
